If you've ever spent hours watching MPL MY matches or felt the thrill of seeing a Malaysian team compete on the international stage, you already know how exciting the esports scene can be. At talas89, we don't just provide a betting platform — we aim to deliver an experience that truly resonates with the culture and passion of Malaysian esports fans.
Esports in Malaysia is no longer a niche hobby. With MPL Malaysia, FFML, and international tournaments like M-Series and VCT Pacific drawing large local audiences, interest in esports betting has been growing rapidly. talas89 built as a platform that truly understands these needs — not simply copying markets from overseas platforms that don't keep up with the Malaysian league scene.
What sets us apart is the depth of markets we offer. For MLBB alone, you can bet on far more than just the match winner. You can wager on which team destroys the First Tower, who secures the first Lord kill, how long the match will last, who takes the MVP and much more. For fans who genuinely follow the meta and know each team's strengths, these are highly valuable opportunities.
Unlike traditional sports, which are subject to weather, physical injuries, and other external variables, esports takes place in a far more controlled environment. Matches are played indoors on high-performance computer setups, and outcomes depend almost entirely on skill, strategy, and teamwork.
This gives a real edge to players who actually follow the scene — those who know who TODAK's current carry is, or how PAPER REX typically approaches the Ascent map. Your knowledge of the esports world can be a serious asset when betting at talas89.
On top of that, esports features a much more frequent match schedule. MPL MY runs every weekend, ESL Pro League has matches nearly every day during the group stage, and VCT Pacific fills the gaps between major events. This means there's always a match to follow and bet on at talas89 throughout the week.
For new players who are less familiar with esports formats, talas89 provides a quick guide on every match page. You'll be able to understand the Bo3 (Best of 3) and Bo5 (Best of 5) formats, as well as the group stage and playoff structure, before placing your bets. We believe an informed player is a player who enjoys the experience more.
One of the most popular features among users talas89 is live betting for esports. Picture this: you're watching an MLBB match and your team just dropped game one. With live betting, you can place a bet on game two at adjusted odds — and if you believe they can turn it around, that's your moment to act.
Live betting odds are updated every few seconds based on real-time in-game conditions. For MLBB, this includes kill count, objectives taken, hero composition and game time. For CS2, it factors in the current round score, team economy and momentum. Our system processes all of this automatically to deliver the most accurate odds possible.
Deposits and withdrawals at talas89 can be done via the local Malaysian payment methods you already use — DuitNow, FPX (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks), Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost and ShopeePay. The minimum deposit is RM10, and you can start betting right away once the deposit is credited within seconds.
